In the Gen 8.5 runtimes under VS100 or VS110 folder, there is a file wru850n.dll.
What is the significance of this DLL and what is the corresponding file name in Gen 8.6?

Resolution

The file wru850n.dll is a runtime dll required to execute a Gen 8.5 GUI client.
In Gen 8.6 GA the Function library code in wru850n.dll was merged into the Gen 8.6 wrgn.dll as part of the Gen 8.6 ease of upgrade project.
However 8.6 PTF RTN86217/LU03130 (superseded by WKS86300/LU06327) restored the need for wrun.dll.
