How to check WA product setup validity and integrity?

Issue/Introduction

Users installing WA product may see errors like these:

./wa_setup.sh: line 838: /mnt/test/Linux/wa_self: Input/output error

 

Environment

Release : Any

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys), Workload Automation Agent

Cause

The DVD may be corrupted.

Resolution

Check media and setup integrity by using the check sum.  The DVD download for product will also have a separate PDF files with checksum and commands to check it (see screenshot).  Download and follow the steps in the PDF for sum output, each product DVD will have its own PDF.
