What is the Broadcom recommended WLM Service Class for the OPSMAIN and auxiliary address spaces?

Cause

To avoid becoming a central constraint potentially for the system, it's important for OPS/MVS to be properly defined to WLM.

Resolution

For the OPSMAIN Address Space

The OPSMAIN address space should be set to the SYSSTC WLM service class to process event traffic from all address spaces on the system.

 

For All Other Address Spaces

All other OPS/MVS address spaces (OPSARCH, OPSBCPII, OPSOSF, OPSREST, OPSSLGP, OPSUSS) should be set to the WLM service class just below SYSSTC.
