CA View - How to Provide Access to Reports on the View Panels

Issue/Introduction

This is a customer request to grant access to view reports via the View panels. Though access was granted to users via command "DEF USER" and "DEF DIST", some users are still unable to access the reports, receiving authorization errors. 

How is access granted to the new users?

Resolution

The client made some changes to the MASK ID and DIST ID in the User Definition panel (accessed via command "DEF USER"), which allowed the designated users to access the required reports and other archived jobs.
