Issue/Introduction

Endevor Web Services STC, CAEWSSTC, getting the following LE error:
+CEE0374C CONDITION=CEE0813S TOKEN=0003032D 59C3C5C5 00000000
          WHILE RUNNING PROGRAM UNKNOWN
          AT THE TIME OF INTERRUPT

 
Then CA Common Services giving this error:
+CCSR010E C1SSESTA U4088 at 00836416 LMOD CEEBINIT CSECT N/A +N/A CAEWSSTC N/A CAEWSSTC

 After the User 4088-3EC abend, getting IEW4000I FETCH FAILED messages and many S878-10 abends.

Cause

A web services STC abends with a U4088-3EC (S878-10 is also possible) or an S906-08.

The abend occurs for an STC that runs for a relatively long time. A long running address space that uses the Endevor API can encouter the same abends.

SYMPTOMS:
Abend U4088-3EC
Abend S878-10
Abend S906-08, accompanied with message CSV002I in the job log.

Resolution

Apply APAR  LT00116.
