Issue/Introduction

How can we filter (inactive) agents with "Upgrade Waiting" via SQLI object?

This information is visible in the Agent list in AWA, but there is Filter available.

The status is also not directly available on the table HOST.

Cause

The status 'Upgrade waiting' is a status that is calculated. There is no filter in AWI or DB field that stores this status.

Resolution

Workaround:

For already upgraded Agents the entries in the table HOST for HOST_Version and HOST_TargetVersion are identical. By extension if these entries are different, the CAU has been start but is waiting.

So, by combining the entries HOST_Active, HOST_Version and HOST_TargetVersion you can find inactive agents waiting for upgrade.

 

Another option would be using the entry HOST_UpgradeRunId in the HOST table with AH_STATUS = '1696' of that RunID in the AH table.
