Issue/Introduction

Description:

The CA Workload Automation System agent creates two files for each job. What are the new ".joblog" files?

Solution:

By default, the CA Workload Automation R11.3 System Agent creates a job log for every script or executable that it runs: the job log contains an environment and other diagnostic information that can be used to debug failed jobs.

The following parameter in the agentparm.txt file enable or disable the ".joblog" files:

  • oscomponent.joblog

    • false-Disables job logs
    • true-Enables job logs, default.

Note: After editing the agentparm.txt a restart of the agent is required for changes to take an affect
