How to run Wireshark on a Linux server

Solution:

Wireshark is already installed on LOD machines. To check out the process try the following:

• Download and install Xming to your Windows workstation:
  
  https://km.ca.com/technicalsupport/del/EngTools/tools_contents/Xming.aspx
  
  
• Configure your putty session for X11 forwarding:
  
  Open Putty > Connection > SSH > X11 > Enable X11 forwarding
  
  
• Save your session.
  
  
• Connect to your RH server as root.
  
  
• /usr/sbin/wireshark
