nas AO Profile to clear Nutanix alarms is not working

Issue/Introduction

I was told that nutanix alarms are not cleared automatically and this is by design. So I created an AO profile in order to close the alarms of "nutanix_monitor" probe after 1 day, but the alarms are not cleared.

Resolution

You can use a NAS Auto Operator profile to close the Nutanix and/or Prism Central alarms.

 

or use a nas preprocessing rule to exclude (delete) the alarms - note that you could use an Operating Period via the Operating period Tab to clear it each day at a particular time, e.g., midnight.
