Does resetting aedbadmin password impact running jobs?

Environment

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

The 'aedbadmin' database account is the schema owner but it is only used during initial product installation and upgrades. The Scheduler and Application server use the 'autosys' database user to perform the various queries they need to run. You can safely reset the 'aedbadmin' password without impacting running jobs. The password for that user is not stored anywhere in the application configuration.
