Ideal program recompile not needed when new key added

Issue/Introduction

When a new key is added to a Datacom table, do all Ideal programs that access that table need to be recompiled?

Environment

Component : IDEAL all versions 

                      Datacom all versions

Resolution

No, programs that access the table do not need to be recompiled when a new key is defined. Only programs that will make use of the new key will be compiled as a natural outcome of their development activity.
