When we installed Solve Operations 11.9. there was a init step in S0LCALC to initialize a syslog file:
//INISYSL EXEC PGM=IEBGENER
//SYSUT2 DD DSN=<hlq>.OPB9.SYSL,
// DISP=OLD
//SYSUT1 DD DUMMY,DCB=(DSORG=PS,BLKSIZE=15476,LRECL=137,RECFM=VBA)
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN DD DUMMY
Question:
Is this step still necessary if the file has to be reallocated?
Release : 11.9
Component : CA SOLVE:Operations Automation for z/OS
No.
Since z/OS 1.11 there is automatically created an EOF even in non SMS files and SMS managed.
