SMTP connection for emailgtw probe configuration failure

Issue/Introduction

SMTP connection test is failing for the emailgtw probe, even though the configuration aris e correct and we are receiving the emails.

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - EMAILGTW 2.84

Cause

- no need for username and password in the emailgtw.cfg

Resolution

Suggested setting up the connection without the smtp user and password:

smtp_user = 
smtp_pass = 

and the connection test was no longer ending up red in the emailgtw.

Emails were flowing so customer was receiving emails for the alerts.
