WebApp “Main Arguments” do not contain “-contextPort 43000 “ Is that necessary/what does that do?

Release : 10.4.x+

Resolution

The -ContextPort parameter is not required for proper WebApp functionality.   

ContextPort is used for Launch in context feature i.e., for launching OC Client directly to a specific context.. for an alarm or device, etc.

When you try to launch the OC directly in Launch in context approach to open directly a model or an alarm view.

For example : http://10.x.x.x/spectrum/oneclick.jnlp?alarm=601a6bda-0737-1000-0201-005056a7386a

This URL will launch the jnlp file with this specific alarm selected in Alarms tab.

This is what is meant by launch in context of OC.
