Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to recover or change the VAPP 'config' user's password if it is lost or forgotten?

Environment

VAPP Identity Suite: all versions.

Resolution

There is no mechanism to recover the config user's password if that password has been lost. 

The only option is to redeploy the VAPP from the OVA. 

Additional Information

What is the impact of not having the config users credentials? 
The deployed products will continue to work for the time being, but you will be unable to stop, start, patch, or otherwise administer the environment.
