Issue/Introduction

Multiple files in

/opt/altiris/notification/swuagent/var/catalog_packages

filling up disk space.

Environment

Release : 8.5

Component : Software Update Agent

Cause

Product defect.

catalog_packages contains data files for patch assessment.

Agent does add new content, but fails to delete old files.

Resolution

To be fixed in 8.6 release

 

Workaround:

* Delete files/folders from /opt/altiris/notification/swuagent/var/catalog_packages

Next assessment task will download what is required from package server and must be able to complete assessment.
