Issue/Introduction

Multiple files filling up disk space in:

/opt/altiris/notification/swuagent/var/catalog_packages

Environment

ITMS 8.5

Component: Software Update Agent

Cause

Product defect:

• catalog_packages contains data files for patch assessment.
• Agent does add new content, but fails to delete old files.

Resolution

This was fixed in the ITMS 8.6 release

Workaround:

Delete files/folders from /opt/altiris/notification/swuagent/var/catalog_packages

The next assessment task will download what is required from package server and must be able to complete assessment.
