Issue/Introduction

 After the TCPIP stack was terminated and then restarted, the Db2 metrics no longer were available via the CE-APM dashboard.

Cause

The XNET started task no longer had a connection to the TCPIP stack, thus the interface between the XNET task and the Sysview for Db2 Data Collector was no longer available.

Environment

Release : 19.0, 20.0

Component : XNET COMMUNICATIONS SERVER

Resolution

The TCPIP stack was terminated causing the termination of XNET's Superserver TCPIP listener application.  Once the connection between XNET and TCPIP is terminated it is necessary to either cycle the XNET started task or issue the /F modify command to restart the XNET Superserver application:

/f <xnet-proc>,TCP START APPL(PXNWTSS)

 Note: (where xnet-proc is the XNET started task name)
