Issue/Introduction

Starting CA OPS/MVS 14.0 for the first time and getting the following errors:

CSV003I REQUESTED MODULE OPRXHW   NOT FOUND
CSV028I ABEND806-04  JOBNAME=OPSMVS    STEPNAME=OPSMVS
OPS5005S ABEND X'00806000' in subtask exit OPINAO+X'00003FEE'
OPS9990I CA OPS/MVS ABEND 806000 detected at OPINAO+00003FEE

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : OPS/MVS

Cause

A module OPSAEX from a previous OPS/MVS release is in LPA. This module OPSAEX refers to the module OPRXHW that pertains to a feature that was removedn OPS release 14.0.

A OPS/MVS Hardware Services (HWS) feature no longer supports integration with the CA Common Services (CCS) Hardware Interface Service (HISRV) component. HWS now uses the CA OPS/MVS BCPii (OPSBCPII) Server exclusively.

Resolution

Make sure the module OPSAEX is refreshed in the LPA or include the new OPS 14.0 load library (CCLXLOAD) in the STEPLIB of the OPSMAIN and OPSOSF started tasks.
