COMMON SERVICES FOR Z/OS

Issue/Introduction

On February 1, 2021, the Broadcom Support Team published a Hiper alert to the Common Services for z/OS r15.0 CAIRIM component.  
This alert applies to customers who use SMP/E Receive Order to acquire maintenance. 
Several customers have asked if this will affect Chorus Software Manager (CSM). 

Environment

Cause

The certificate for use with SMP/E Receive Order is expiring on February 5, 2021.  
Customers who use Receive Order must download and install a new certificate prior to that date.  

Resolution

This certificate is only used for the SMP/E Receive Order and is not used by CSM 
Download and install the new Digicert Global Root G2 certificate by February 5, 2021.

Follow the download instructions contained in the alert to download and install the new certificate
