As of 9.02 or higher, UIM's licensing scheme has changed. License dependency has been removed.

Please review our documentation for details:

Removed License Dependency (Hub, Robot, Probes)

From CA UIM 9.2.0 onward, hub/robot- and probe-level licensing requirements have been removed. Deploy the hub, robot, and distsrv versions released with CA UIM 9.2.0 to remove the license dependency.

With this change:

- The hub UI displays the license information as Perpetual.
- The addition or deletion of licenses is no longer applicable or needed
- distsrv 9.20 has a dependency on the robot 9.20/9.20S.
- Take a backup of all the existing licenses before upgrading to CA UIM 9.2.0.

For smooth functioning and better supportability, Please ensure your 9.20 installation is updated with the latest version of dependency robot probe hotfixes as well as other critical hotfixes found on our support site below:

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/product-content/recommended-reading/technical-document-index/ca-unified-infrastructure-management-hotfix-index.html?r=2

If you need to continue with some older versions of hub/robot and probes that require an extension of the license, contact Support so that they can assist you in extending the license (if required). All the relevant sections in documentation have been updated with this information.
