Issue/Introduction

Running SCRT reports, the Broadcom licenses are not picked up on SCRT list. 

Environment

COMMON SERVICES 15.0 - z/OS supported releases - 

 

Resolution

Gen 8.6 has been modified to provide records in the SCRT report but this has not been done for Gen 8.5. 

It is not planned to modify GEN 8.5. This is why there are no SCRT reports for Gen 8.5.

 

Upgrading to Gen 8.6, code 4F will be reported in SCRT when using the  Gen TCP/IP Direct Connect product. 

Code 4E won't be reported in SCRT even using Gen 8.6 z/OS IT (Implementation Toolset) because this product does not produce records to update SCRT at this time. 

A change to record code 4E in the SCRT report is being evaluated for future implementation.
