SEP Mobile automatically pauses the sync if it detects that a significant number of devices will be removed.
Periodic device sync has been put on hold, because the system detected an exception drop in the number of devices in the environment. If this is an intentional change, you can resume the sync to remove these #### devices from the system; otherwise it is recommended to review the deployment scope both in the Basic Setup section, as well as in MDM

This is to give mobile administrators the opportunity to verify the deployment scope of the SEP Mobile app before a significant number of devices are removed from the management console
Sign into the SEP Mobile Management Console
Navigate to Settings
Select your MDM under integrations
Select Basic Setup or Full Integration. Take this opportunity to review the deployment scope. If you haven't already, check the SEP Mobile deployment scope in your MDM as well.
Expand the MDM Integration Status and click Sync Now...
Click Sync Now in the new bubble that pops up in the MC
NOTE: It will take a few minutes to attempt to sync.
Once the sync has failed again, you will receive a message that says
"Periodic device sync has been put on hold, because the system detected an exception drop in the number of devices in the environment. If this is an intentional change, you can resume the sync to remove these #### devices from the system; otherwise it is recommended to review the deployment scope both in the Basic Setup section, as well as in MDM"
Click on resume the sync. The sync will now resume.
