Issue/Introduction

Startup of the Datacom MUF region fails with the following message:

DB00205E - MULTI-USER ERROR - 1125 MUF NOT AUTHORIZED

However, all the load libraries in STEPLIB have been correctly APF authorized.

Cause

The MUF job is submitted on the LPAR (e.g. SYS1) where the libraries are actually APF authorized but WLM routes it to a different LPAR (e.g. SYS2) for execution.

Environment

Release : any

Component : CA Datacom/AD

Component : CA Datacom/DB

Resolution

Be sure that the MUF region actually executes on the LPAR where the libraries are correctly authorized, for example using a SYSAFF card:

/*JOBPARM SYSAFF=SYS1

Additional Information

See /*JOBPARM statement.
