How can a good range for the next UID used in OMVS be found on an ACF2 database?

Issue/Introduction

There is a need to set up AUTOIDOM to automatically give out the UID numbers in OMVS.  Is there an easy way to find out what numbers have been used?

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

By issuing the SHOW OMVS command, a list of used UID and GID numbers will be displayed.  Looking at that list a determination of a good number to start AUTOIDOM with can be made.
