Issue/Introduction

Description:

In a Service Desk Manager installation, the bop_sinfo command can be used to get a mapping of all Service Desk objects and attributes including object references and attribute display names

Solution:

To get the mapping of all Service Desk objects:

  1. Run:

    bop_sinfo -a ALL > ALL.txt

  2. Review the output file, ALL.txt

Note: if you already know that you want to narrow down the results to a specific object, then instead of specifying "All", specify the object type or factory. For example, for the object for requests/incidents/problems, specify "cr" by running: bop_sinfo -a cr > cr.txt

For detailed information on using bop_sinfo, please see Technical Document TEC493008.
