Issue/Introduction

It was noticed that the WebApp Tomcat is using high memory - How can this be reduced?

Cause

When clients close their sessions via the X close button it does not actually disconnect the session by default.

Resolution

There are two ways to resolve this:

1. Direct users to go to file -> Exit

This will effectively close the session.

2. Adjust settings within WebApp to timeout sessions after so much time of no activity.

Navigate your browser to:

http://WebAppHost:WebAppPort/spectrum

I.e. http://lvntest000672.bpc.broadcom.net:9443/spectrum

Login prompt use:

spectrum as the user and spectrum as the password

Click MANAGE in the top right of the Oneclick WebApp

Then click "Config"

Note the below settings:

 

 

Turn on "Timeout if active"

Scroll to the top and click "Apply"
