When does TPX do LMP key checks?
Environment
Release : 5.4
Component : CA-TPX for OS/390
Resolution
TPX does an LMP key check on startup and at midnight (start of a new date).
The following message will appear in the log:
TPX9900 01/26/21.026 00:00:00.37 CA-TPX IS CHECKING AUTHORIZATION
From the documentation:
TPX9900
The product is checking for a valid LMP key in the CAIRIM component of CA Common Services.
If a new LMP key is brought in between startup and the midnight check, TPX would need a recycle to check again.
