Issue/Introduction

Why is ccirmtd instance not running when doing netstat -tunlp on linux instance?

Environment

Release : 11.2 SP2 CUM1

Component : UNICENTER UNIVERSAL JOB MANAGEMENT AGENT

Cause

The ustat command shows the CCI Remote Server not started. After running the unicntrl restart all the

CCI Remote Server still shows not start. This most likely means the hostname is not resolvable.

 

Resolution

Need to add the machine name into /etc/host file then the cci remote will start.
