ICSP device does not maintain static IP after Reboot

Issue/Introduction

During setup, the scanner is assigned a static IP in its configuration.

When it is rebooted the IP assignment is lost.

During the boot sequence the device appears with the correct IP. Before the web interface becomes available the device loses the correct IP and takes a DHCP address.

Environment

Release :6.0.3

Component : ICSP NEURAL Scanner

Cause

Software version on the scanner was outdated and an upgrade to 6.1.x was needed.

 

Resolution

Issue was resolved by upgrading to 6.1.x. (link to upgrade instructions below)
