CA Network Flow Analysis (NetQos / NFA)

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded to DX NetOps Portal 20.2.6 and NFA 10.0.5 and are now experiencing the following error within DX NetOps Portal System Status view.  NFA's Status is "Failed" and each of the Harvester components status is unknown.  Where previously, with DX NetOps Portal 20.2.4, it was "Unreachable").  This, even though, NFA as a Datasource doesn't present any error and can sync without any apparent error.

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : NETWORK FLOW ANALYSIS, DX NETOPS PORTAL

Cause

In this scenario not all the NFA pre-reqs were installed.

Resolution

It was missing Microsoft Visual C++

After installing the missing Microsoft Visual; C++ package, the NFA services were restarted.  Now we can see the status for NFA and it's Harvester(s) are all green.

Additional Information

If the pre-reqs are present and you still face the same issue, consider upgrading.  Upgrading to NFA 10.0.7 (aka 20.2.7) with DX NetOps Portal 20.2.7 will resolve these issues.  If you are using Performance Management with NFA then it should be upgraded to 20.2.7.  If NFA not integrated with Performance Management then download DX NetOps Portal from NFA download page (20.2.7).
