Issue/Introduction

Users are currently permitted to:

JESSPOOL=node. ACCESS=ALL

Would a rule of JESSPOOL=node.ESP ACCESS=ALL help limit access to JESSPOOL resources?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

The JESSPOOL resource name format is as follows:

JESSPOOL(nodename.userid.jobname.jobid.dsidentifier.name)

The following example limits the user's authority to the JESSPOOL resource to a specific node with a userid of 'ESP':
JESSPOOL=node.ESP ACCESS=ALL
Additional qualifiers, (such as jobname, jobid, dsidentifier, etc..) can be added to the resource name to further limit access to JESSPOOL resources.
