DCB Abend Exit software disablement for the CA XCOM PGM

Issue/Introduction

Working with our storage team to disable the third-party software that interferes with XCOM during DCB abends.  The vendor stated that the PGM that is used by XCOM can be excluded.  Does the exclude need to be done against the XCOMJOB PGM used in batch jobs, the XCOMXFER PGM used in the started task, or both?

Resolution

The DCB Abend Exit software exclude needs to be done for both PGMs used by XCOM i.e. the XCOMJOB PGM used in batch jobs and the XCOMXFER PGM used in the started task.
