Jaspersoft error "Cannot run program "git""

Issue/Introduction

I just upgraded Jaspersoft to 7.1.3.

I found the following error while reviewing the install.log file, though the Build itself was successful.

[encrypt-props] Encrypt dbPassword,sysPassword
     [echo] chkIfPackageManagedTomcat: check if package managed tomcat
     [echo] Tomcat DBCP Factory: com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.tomcat.jndi.JSCommonsBasicDataSourceFactory
     [exec] Execute failed: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "git": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

 

Environment

Release : 15.9

Component : CA PPM APPLICATION

Resolution

This message is not a cause for concern, and the install should be able to complete successfully.
