Issue/Introduction

Jammer cycles are taking longer then expected and noticing other performance issues within the GUI.

When reviewing the jaws.log there are timeout messages like below:

WARN [AutosysPredictionEngine] Prediction for <Jobstream name> at 2020/12/09 14:30:00.000 PST timed out.  Timeout period is 2:00

Environment

Release : 5.8.6

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

1. Set the parameter below to true in the configuration tool

client.showAutoTrimJobsWithNoRunFrequencyOption

 

2. Then relaunch the AAI client and you should see the check box below on the trimming tab for that jobstream, for "Trim jobs with no Run History"

 

3. Also you can try enabling the other two Auto Trim options which are already there to see if performance improves.
