NFA Console Upgrade Fails with Duplicate entry in migrator log

Issue/Introduction

Error seen in the migrator log:

Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: Duplicate entry '10-X-XX-X' for key 'MajorVersion'

 

Environment

Release : 10.0

Component : NQRPTA - REPORTERANALYZER

Cause

The upgrade is attempting to use an old console_movie.xml file from the root directory of NFA to perform the upgrade. This file is generated during upgrades and can be left behind. When the next upgrade occurs, it tries to use the same one again.

Resolution

Delete the console_movie.xml file from the root NFA directory. Run the 'runMigrator.vbs' file from /NFA/migrator again using a command prompt with admin privileges.
