Issue/Introduction

We received the key for 2021 but in excel format.

How should we apply with CATDM and Grid Tools?

Resolution

The License team said they aren't sure exactly what this xls file is. It doesn't look to be a valid TDM License file. If you need to check your current TDM License keys, or you need to download your current TDM keys, you should be able to download them from the Broadcom Support Portal under 'My Entitlements'. TDM licenses are perpetual, so they should not expire. Chances are you don't need a new license, which means this xls file can be ignored.

You can verify your TDM License from TDM Portal. If you are running under a PLA agreement, then there is no need to do anything regarding licensing. If you are using a traditional license you can check the status by going to the TDM Portal Home page, click Configuration in the left pane. Click License Details from the new options that appear. Here you can see the following details:

• Time until current license's date of expiration.
• Licensee name.
• Site ID.
