The IDB2 DC output shows DBG11016E GSS ERROR: GSS Address Space is not active

Issue/Introduction

Option 4 (messages) in Sysview for Db2 (IDB2) panel proves successful in displaying information for all the options.  However, the IDB2 DC has the following messages:

DBG72032E ssid 04:07:03 ERROR INVOKING IMOD IDB2MEXC ON ISERV ISRV  (RC=0016-00000016) FOR THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION:

DBG11016E ssid 04:07:03 GSS ERROR: GSS Address Space is not active

Release : 20.0

Component : CA SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Cause

These messages occurred due to the IDB2 DC being started before the GSS address space was initialized.

Resolution

The DBG11016E DB5P 04:07:03 GSS ERROR: GSS Address Space is not active message occurred because the IDB2 DC task started before the GSS address was started.  Once the GSS task was fully initialized, IDB2 could successfully communicate with the GSS address space.
