Resolution

The ACF2 databases are standard VSAM files. Sites should use IBM VSAM access method services (AMS) REPRO or IMPORT and EXPORT commands to reorganize ACF2 VSAM databases to recover space lost through CI and CA splits.

Check to see the last time the site did a VSAM reorganize of the ACF2 VSAM databases, if the time is greater than one year recommend that the site reorganize the databases, if less than a year recommend that the site increases the size of the ACF2 databases(see ‘How to Expand the ACF2 Database Clusters’)
