Issue/Introduction

After a refresh, it was noted that the modern UI Menu Links have hard coded static hostnames from the source environment, rather than the target environment.

It appears that the link values cannot be changed from a hard coded static link with a hostname to a relative url value.

Example:

     Initial value:  https://<clarity>/niku/nu#action:odf.abc_abcList

     Attempted relative value:  /niku/nu#action:odf.abc_abcList

The error that is thrown when attempting to do this is: "Supported protocols are http: and https:"

Is there another way to do this?

Environment

Release : 15.9

Component : CLARITY PPM SAAS OPERATIONS

Resolution

Menu Links currently do not allow a way to use a relative URL.

This would need to be submitted as an enhancement request. The steps to submit an enhancement are outlined in the following article: Enhancement Requests for Clarity
