Issue/Introduction

How can the OSGI cache be monitored to give an indication that it should be cleared?

Environment

APM Enterprise Manager 10.7

Resolution

The following metric can be monitored:
SuperDomain|Custom Metric Host (Virtual)|Custom Metric Process (Virtual)|Custom Metric Agent (Virtual)|Enterprise Manager|ApplicationTriageMap|Landing Cache:Refresh time duration in ms

This metric basically says how long the cache refresh takes. The cache refresh is executed every 60 seconds so the value should be less than 60,000 [ms]
NOTE: The initial values (after the restart) will be longer because the cache is being preloaded with 24hours of data but after that only increments from the previous runs.
If the value exceeds 60,000 ms it could indicate that a cache clean-up may help in improving performance.
