Issue/Introduction

We are looking for a tool or method of have our DE scheduler interface with ServiceNow to generate incidents on a job failure.

Resolution

If you need to get automated tickets at ServiceNow of job failures in DE, you can make use of the Email or SNMP trap Notifications features in DE depending on how ServiceNow can pick the Notifications. For example, setup the jobs in DE to send Email Notifications on job failures and ServiceNow can pick up the details from the Email.
