Issue/Introduction

Deployment of ITCM Agent on Linux machine fails with error :

Not enough disk space on target machine.

Espace disque insuffisant sur l'ordinateur cible

Nicht genügend Speicherplatz auf dem Zielrechner vorhanden.

 

Environment

client Automation 14.0

 

Cause

There is not enough disk space in file system hosting /opt

ITCM Agent needs at least 150 MB of free disk space

 

Resolution

If more free disk space on file system hosting /opt could be added, a solution/workaround is to move the installation of CA directory on another file system with enough disk space.

Example with /data :

cd /opt
mv CA /data
ln -s /data/CA CA

/opt/CA is a symbolic file linking to directory /data/CA

Installation will be made under file system /data
