When SNMP Community is removed from User Privileges it is still visible in the Results tab of Locater

Issue/Introduction

A custom column with SNMP Community was added to the table Locater view with View Privileges removed, but the User still sees the Attribute.

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

When extend the factory XML files through the idref attribute in the new file to refer to the default file, you have to add the privilege section to associate the privilege.

Resolution

Edit the $SPECROOT/custom/topo/config/table-searchresults-config.xml file and include the privilege sub-section.

   <privilege>
     <name>community-string</name>
   </privilege>



Close the OneClick Console and launch it again to change take effect.

 

The Model Management/View Attributes OOB (Out Of the Box) privilege names are located in the $SPECROOT/tomcat/webapps/spectrum/WEB-INF/topo/config/privileges-topo-config.xml file
