Issue/Introduction

Trying to log into CA API Developer Portal 3.x with LDAP account may see this error:

SEVERE: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

Cause

This issue can be caused by incorrect Cipher Selections on Listen Ports that the LDAP Certificate is expecting

Resolution

Check the Gateway Policy Manager Listen Port Properties Cipher selections to ensure that relevant ones are selected for your environment on the Under SSL/TLS Tab
