Issue/Introduction

When adding an EEM User Domain to Automic Automation Intelligence the user is prompted to add the AutoSys App Name within EEM (see below).

If the “AutoSys App Name” field is left unpopulated and a user tests the configuration by clicking upon “Test configuration” then an error message is received. The error states that “The Autosys application was not found on the eEM server.”

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Cause

When testing the configuration of an EEM domain the AAI application will check for the existence of the AutoSys application within the specified EEM environment.

Resolution

1. To add the EEM Domain you can leave the “AutoSys App Name” field blank and click on OK without testing.

2. To perform a configuration test of the EEM domain then populate the “AutoSys App Name” field with the name of the AAI Application within EEM.

Example screenshots are provided as examples below.

This will allow the user to determine if the EEM server is configured successfully and optionally whether application users will be successfully authenticated.
