Differential Analysis map in Webview blank

Issue/Introduction

 

 

On a recently installed APM 10.7 cluster, the Differential Analysis map in WebView is blank for all Front-Ends (no matter what agent).

It should be activated for Front-Ends by default. There should be a default differential control defined but unclear where.

Could it be present in an OOTB management module?

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Cause

 

It is assumed that during upgrade, the OOTB management modules were replaced with previous version MMs when the MMs were migrated from 10.3.

 

Resolution

 

 

Differential Analysis is based on a differential analysis control, which has to be configured in WebView, and a metric grouping which defines the metrics that are matched.

There is a default differential analysis control in DefaultMM.jar

Attached is a copy of the default management modules for APM 10.7 in case the configuration needs to be returned to original.

The specific management module is DefaultMM.jar but all default management modules are provided.
