VANTAGE - port 23 used tn3270 configuration

Issue/Introduction

For security reasons port 23 should be closed and apparently Vantage seems to generate a tn3270 connection on this port when connecting User.

Is it possible to change the port to 992 and how ?

Resolution

CA Vantage View 3270 is a VTAM application. Forbidding/blocking the Telnet port 23 will not cause any problem in order to access the View 3270 - 

Regarding the IP and new port - new entry point for VTAM applications just use "logon applid(xxxxxx)" or any other VTAM command used to dial/call V3270.
