SMF 89.2 records not being produced for Broadcom PRODUCTS

Issue/Introduction

The Common Services CAISCRT job generates sub-capacity reports for Broadcom products.  However, SMF 89.2 records are not being cut for the Broadcom products in use.

Cause

COMMON SERVICES OPTION NOT SET

 

Resolution

LMPAM was set to NO. This turned off SMF 89 record generation. To turn on the feature after running CAS9 with LMPAM=NO, run CAS9 with the following RIMPARM: LMPAM=YES Procedure CAS.MF89R of the CAI.CAW0PROC data set is used to run the IBM usage data report utility IFAURP. To turn off this feature, add the following statement to the CAIRIM RIMPARM member: LMPAM=NO The statement must be placed in column 1.
