This is an example of the creation of a simple Ad Hoc report that will display a single QOS metric for a group of devices for a period greater than 1 hour and that allows for a raw data aggregation.
Release : All Supported UIM versions
Component : UIM - OPERATOR CONSOLE- CABI
Select “New Custom Report”
Select “UIM Metrics Topic”
Define the time range of data that you want to display and the sources you want to display for, along with the Aggregation Type:
Select the QOS source that you will be reporting on:
To change to a line type graph, select the gears icon and select Chart type after selecting Chart from the layout type:
This then should display some data after you drag some data columns to Columns and Rows :
Select the Columns slider and move it to Device Name under the Filters section (generally the same on all versions):
Right click on Sample Time > Change Grouping > set to desired sample points (generally the same on all versions). This is generally going to be set to 'Minute By Day' to eliminate miscalculations of given points:
Click to add Title of View (generally the same on all versions):

Select Advanced > click Add New Property > enter Property and Value > click the check mark to save > Apply
Turn of the option “Show measure name when only one measure is present” as desired.

Once created you can then save the view, and also create a report from the view.
Also I can create measures of min and max of the sample values if I want to see that listed:
Once you have measures created for both min and max you can just drag and drop them onto the chart.
You may also have the desire to get min, max, average, and standard deviation values in your report. This can be accomplished by dragging multiple sample values to row or column, and then right click on the sample value and set the calculation method.
