Problem with web services with APM 10.7 SP3 agent

We have upgraded agents to APM 10.7 SP3 and have enabled a solution that worked good with APM 10.5.2 agent for web service calls but the solution seems to be ineffective with APM 10.7 SP3 agent. The solution is explained in this knowledge article:

This issue has been fixed in APM 10.7 SP4 and DX APM. At present, APM 10.7 SP4 is going through regression testing and certification. APM 10.7 SP4 will be available in next few months. We do not have any ETA yet.

Following options are available:

1- Disable the SOA monitoring (please take the following steps):

1- Stop App Server.
2- Delete all agent logs.
3- Disable SOA monitoring by following steps.
comment out the following entries in C:\AppServer\wily\core\config\jboss-typical.pbl
take out C:\AppServer\wily\core\ext\WebServices.jar file.
4- Start App Server.
5- Check if the problem is resolved..

2- If you think that a HOTFIX is needed for your environment, please open a case with APM support team. Please provide business justification for the HOTFIX (the issue needs to be highly critical which is impacting the monitoring hugely).
